Hello, I’m Jack👋

Product Manager, Product leader, and Rookie Python Developer

About

As a seasoned product manager with over six years in B2B SaaS, I’ve led cross-functional teams in driving user-centric product development and strategic prioritization.

At Savanta, I championed a 50% growth in key product areas by being a customer advocate, and uniting customer insights with our business objectives, redesigning methodologies, and executing scalable strategies.

My focus on lean experimentation, rapid iteration, and strategic roadmap alignment ensures that products meet both current and future needs, tailored to diverse customers across organizational sizes.

Me & Product

After an initial stint working in a laboratory, I quickly realised that a career in routine scientific processes wasn’t for me. I wanted to apply my analytical skills in a way that identified and solved real-world problems. This led me to market research, where I could leverage my research background to uncover insights and shape strategy.

At Morar (now Savanta), I became a subject matter expert in in-house research tools, which introduced me to the world of Product Management—a career path I hadn’t previously considered. I was drawn to the role because it combined everything I valued: using research to deeply understand user needs, diagnosing pain points, and developing strategies to create impactful solutions. Product Management allowed me to bridge the gap between user insights and business growth, ensuring that products not only addressed key challenges but also delivered meaningful value.

From the moment I stepped into Product, I knew I had found the right path. It’s a career that constantly challenges me, keeps me curious, and allows me to work at the intersection of research, strategy, and innovation—helping teams build better products and drive real impact.

Hobbies

I’m an avid audiobook listener and always looking to develop new skills—whether in cooking or expanding my expertise as a full-stack Python developer. I’ve built several hobby projects, each designed to explore new technologies and areas of development. My longest-running project is a Fantasy Premier League application, which I’m now transforming into a full-featured website (more details on my project page).

This year, I’ve set myself a unique culinary challenge: each week, I randomly select a country and cook its national dish. The goal is to experience cuisines I might not typically consider, expanding my appreciation for global flavors. The results have been mixed so far, but I’m committed to continuing this journey until I’ve covered every country—a process that will take around three years!
